1 dead after Monday crash on Ed Bluestein AUSTIN (KXAN) – Austin Travis County EMS says one person died Monday morning after a fiery crash in Northeast Austin.According to ATCEMS, crews were called out to the crash site at 10:08 a.m. on the northbound service road of Ed Bluestein Boulevard. That's just south of Manor Road near LBJ Early College High School.ATCEMS said it was a crash between a vehicle and a fixed object. The person was pronounced dead at the scene, according to ATC-EMS.

LOUIS - An interesting set-up in the atmosphere for Tuesday as we track two time frames for storms.  Expect a partly to mostly cloudy day Tuesday, breezy, and very warm. Temperature highs will be in the low 80s. Late Tuesday afternoon, widely scattered thunderstorms are possible, primarily just north of the St. Louis region in northeast Missouri and west-central Illinois. However, a layer of very warm air higher up in the atmosphere may keep these storms from forming at all. If these storms can break that cap, the threat for them to become severe is high, with the potential for large hail and tornadoes. Then Tuesday night, a cold front pushes in from the west. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. - Hermann Officer Adam Sullentrup's condition is improving after spending three weeks in a local ICU. Now the wounded officer is being transferred to a Colorado hospital that specializes in traumatic brain injuries.Sullentrup and his partner, Detective Sergeant Mason Griffith, were both shot while trying to arrest a suspect at a convenience store.
